Traveling lists are essential for planning your trip.
Traveling involves many preparatory works, from booking air tickets to packingluggage, arranging a taxi to looking after a caregiver to a pet. I used to
think that no matter how much preparation I thought I would always forget
something like a toothbrush, a cellphone charger, or my sunglasses.
I often have to eventually shop in my destination city. This
is a waste of time and money. While I blame my forgetfulness, I realized the
importance of using the checklist to prepare for the trip. Just as we need
grocery shopping lists, we can not count on us to always remember all the
necessities that we should pack, and all the necessary things we need to do
before we leave home.
I've shared with you three travel lists I've created for
booking / preparing luggage, packing luggage, and preparing for leaving home.
1. Book and prepare a trip list
I use this checklist to make sure I've made all the
necessary bookings, including airline / train / bus, hotel, car rental, taxi
and more. I also use it to record the details of travel, such as things during
a trip, the connection of various emergency situations
2. Travel packing list
This list includes important items that I may need to wrap
in my travel bag so that I will not forget anything important. This list is not
exhaustive. Depending on the season, destination and people traveling with them
(eg, infants, seniors), items need to be added or removed.
3. Home checklist before traveling
I think my trip is stress-free. Before leaving home, I
always use this list for family preparation. Knowing all these necessary steps
has given me a relief and kept me away from headaches when I left home.
The better your plan, the easier it is to travel, the easier
and happier your travel experience will be. Use these three travel lists to
reassure you and save time and money.
